Before I was hired full-time as communications director for WashU’s Olin Business School, I was retained to write several features for Olin’s alumni magazine (and a few for the McKelvey School of Engineering), other content for specialized Washington University websites and additional projects. I was also an adjunct faculty member teaching “The Business of Journalism” from August 2014 until December 2021.
Some examples of feature stories

- A feature on Olin Business School’s “global immersion” for first-year MBA students and its impact on those who took it.
- Washington University’s participation in “the Korea Project” in the late 1950s and early ’60s to enhance and stabilize business education in South Korea after the war.
- “Finding Profit in the Big Data Haystack,” a feature on Olin Business School’s Center for Customer Analytics and Big Data and its master’s program in customer analytics.
- A McKelvey engineering grad sets his sights on clearing the air.
